Although it did not feel like spring today, there was a lot of progress made on the spring planting around our house. Of course the sun is on the way out at the end of the day - back to work tomorrow AM. Another Memorial Day in the history books.
This deal is located in the front corner of our yard. 100% of the rocks are courtesy of the states of ND, SD, MN and MT. There are very few road trips that at least one rock does not make its way home with us. Interesting enough, there is a story to almost every rock and we can remember the rocks and where we got them.
East side of the garage. Most of these rocks are hand size. Our trip to Paul Bunyan yesterday yielded a good haul that filled up a bunch of open spaces.
The prize of the day. It took three of us to lift it in the truck. Sorry for the photo, but there are different shades of green throughout - cool rock.
