Misc. Stuff

Matt mowing Grandpa's lawn for the first time this season. My Mom and Dad have moved to the lake for the summer which means that Matt and Ben are in charge of the yard. Matt and I vowed to do our best to commute to the house via bike all summer, 14 mile round trip. We have plans for some shrub work which will require the F150, but the remainder of the trips will be a nice bike ride.
You should have seen my shoulder, my bike and how much bird crap Matt had on him after getting bombed by a pigeon going under the railroad underpass on North University. What a mess. We stopped into the DQ to clean up. Should have taken more photos but that was the furthest thing from my mind at the time. Looking back makes for a good laugh.

Sweet Surly Pugsley sitting just south of Main Avenue in Fargo. The U-bolt lock is tough, but the wheels are exposed to a quick get away from a dishonest person. Not too many bikes that the wheels will fit on. A bike of this style is definitely on my wish list. Perfect for riding in the winter.
