January 31st! Special day at the Wenzel house! Kriston and Ben share a birthday. We had a great day hanging out in Fargo - grabbing my Mom, eating dinner, shopping and overall enjoying the nice day. 12 years ago today Benjamin was brought into this world. What a happy good kid, we are lucky!

40 degrees for a high temperature today. The winds cranked up, but not until after noon. I was able to take advantage of the warm temperatures by going for an early morning long run. The temps were great, but the streets were mashed potatoes that made for a nice heart rate increase. Post run I was sitting in a lawn chair in the driveway eating Giant "salt and pepper" sunflower seeds and watching Piper the dog chase squirrels. Sat here in the sun for over an hour protected by the wind and generally loving the R and R.This was my view from the lawn chair. It will defiantly take a while for the snow pack to melt. We still have lots of good winter left. Skiing at Maplelag tomorrow - report at that time.
