Hope all is well!
As expected time is flying by quicker then 60 seconds every minute. It feels more like 30 seconds every minute and getting faster.
Matt and Ben have two more weeks of the Fargo North boys swim season - EDC (Eastern Dakota Conference) this weekend followed by the ND State meet the first week in March. Tough practices this week followed by tapering, doing weird things to their hair and the big show out in Bismarck.
After the high school season the boys have three more weeks of club swimming for the FM Gators and then they are out of the pool until this summer.
Kriston and I have been busy as well trying to keep things pointed in the right direction. Unlike most high school sports, there is a lot of parent participation involved to run a swim meet. All home swim meets are parent driven - timers, concessions, scoring, setting up, taking down, etc etc. All good.
We had an open Saturday last weekend and in spite of the lack of snow in Fargo, the ski race that I participate in, the Minnesota Finlandia at the Buena Vista Ski Area near Bemidji was on and in fine form. Snow the previous week made for an excellent track and great conditions.
Kriston made the trip with me. It was a great day!
Click on the link below, shows that my heart rate was tapped for almost two hours.

My lack of skiing this year showed, the whole event was a gut check but I loved every minute of it.
Fargo is getting a dump of snow today. 3 - 5 inches scheduled.
The Mukluk handled the ride home perfectly.
Check out this unfortunate string from the narrow minded people in the Fargo area.

I could write for awhile about my opinion on this topic. In short, Fargo is city of seditary life styles. The Wenzel lifestyle along with most of our friends is in the definate minority. It will take a new generation to change the mentality in this city. My plan is to leave this town long before that happens.
Cheers!
